William James "Willem" Dafoe (born July 22, 1955) is an American actor. Known for his prolific career portraying diverse roles in both mainstream and arthouse films, he is the recipient of various accolades, including the Volpi Cup for Best Actor as well as nominations for four Academy Awards, a BAFTA Award, four Golden Globe Awards, four Critics' Choice Movie Awards, and five Screen Actors Guild Awards. He has frequently collaborated with filmmakers Paul Schrader, Abel Ferrara, Lars von Trier, Julian Schnabel, Wes Anderson, and Robert Eggers. Dafoe was a founding member of experimental theatre company The Wooster Group. He made his film debut with an uncredited role in Heaven's Gate (1980). Dafoe's early career includes credits for The Loveless (1982), Streets of Fire (1984), and To Live and Die in L.A. (1985). He earned his first Academy Award nomination for the war drama Platoon (1986), followed by nominations for his roles in Shadow of the Vampire (2000), The Florida Project (2017), and the Vincent van Gogh biopic At Eternity's Gate (2018). He also gained acclaim and wide recognition for his roles as Jesus Christ in The Last Temptation of Christ (1988) and as the supervillain Norman Osborn in the superhero film Spider-Man (2002), a role he reprised in its sequels Spider-Man 2 (2004) and Spider-Man 3 (2007), and the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). 6 months after the first part we see Peter Parker being detained. It turns out someone on the team double crossed them and told the Kingpin that Peter Parker is Spider-Man. Later on we see Peter being strapped down to a table as the Leader walks up to him and brings out a canister of black ooze. The Leader tells Peter that he will now work for them just like his friend. Just then Kate Bishop aka Hawkeye walks into the room wearing an Intelligencia uniform. The Leader tells Peter that they know exactly who is on his little team and they will all be punished soon. Later on we see The Leader speaking with a shadowy figure as fire surrounds them both. The Leader asks what's next and the figure says this is the final stage and that all the Leader needs to do is wait. Later on we see Daredevil and Luke Cage getting ready to unlock a vault that they believe holds Fisk and the Leader's plans. Just then Fisk shows up and is about to fight them but is stabbed from behind and thrown aside. Daredevil looks up and sees Spider-Man is a black suit. Just as Spider-Man is about to kill them both the building starts falling apart and above them they see a huge red creature taking everything into a black hole. Spider-Man, Luke, and Fisk are sucked up but just then a large bus hits Daredevil and he goes falling into a lake with the bus on him. Daredevil later wakes up on land next to a man wearing a t-shirt with a skull on it who dragged him out of the water.
