Passing himself off as a government scientist, our true antagonist is a master geneticist, having hacked powers into himself and is capable of tangling with any psionic that dares to press him. His skill with giving the government weapons to find mutants for him to dissect is unparalleled, and there's no one he wants to cut open more than Jean Grey.
