Picture it, it's the 1970s and Hammer is trying to recoup after the negative reception of Scars of Dracula. After catching wind of a Marvel comic series starring the famous vampire, a perfect opportunity for a reboot came into their heads. They decide to team up with a young up-and-coming American director and take the series in a new direction, although Christopher Lee is not happy with it.
