Johannes "Joe" Taslim (born on June 23, 1981, in Palembang, South Sumatra), is an Indonesian actor and martial artist of Chinese descent. A member of the Indonesia Judo national team from 1997 to 2009, Taslim is best known for his breakthrough role as "Jaka" in the critically acclaimed The Raid (2011). Later going on to play "Jah" in Fast & Furious 6 (2013), which marked his first role in a film outside Indonesia. From a young age, he studied various martial arts such as wushu, taekwondo, pencak silat, and judo, eventually choosing to focus on judo. Taslim was a member of Indonesia's national judo team from 1997 to 2009, achieving numerous accolades, including a gold medal at the 2008 National Sports Week and a silver medal at the 2007 SEA Games. After retiring from judo, Taslim transitioned to acting and gained international recognition through his role as Sergeant Jaka in the film The Raid (2011). This success led to roles in Hollywood films such as Fast & Furious 6 (2013) as Jah, Star Trek Beyond (2016) as Manas, and Mortal Kombat (2021) as Sub-Zero. He also starred in the television series Warrior as Li Yong. With his strong martial arts background and impressive acting skills, Joe Taslim has become one of the few Indonesian actors to successfully break into the international film industry.

The episode starts with the four turtles training just as master Splinter returns from the surface with a cake for the turtle's 15th mutation day. Splinter tells them the story of how they became what they are today. He tells them of how during a car cash between him and a mysterious van him and his four pet turtles were exposed to a radioactive substance that changed them forever. The episode goes on with them training until as a present Splinter lets them go to the surface for two hours. While up there the turtles witness what looks to be a ninja kill someone after not receiving the correct amount of money for their boss. The turtles investigate and come upon the Foot Clan who they struggle to beat and once they get away, they realize they've been seen when they hear a photo being taken by a girl with red hair and a yellow t-shirt. Once they find her, she apologizes and explains she works for a news station and four mutant turtles in Manhattan is a big story. The girl introduces herself as April O'Neil and tells them she'll delete the picture but just as they're talking, they're ambushed by the Foot Clan who followed them, and they take April as their supposed leader Tiger Claw tells them they have 48 hours to give them the location of Hamato Yoshi or they will kill the girl.
