In a whimsical, steampunk-inspired world where time is a tangible resource, Welsh inventor Horatio Tinker (voiced by Robert Downey Jr.) accidentally discovers time travel. His invention attracts the attention of Malachai (voiced by Javier Bardem), a malevolent time thief intent on rewriting history. Horatio, aided by historian Clara (voiced by Zendaya), engineer Ezra (voiced by Brian Tyree Henry), and quirky robot Gear (voiced by Seth Rogen), embarks on a journey across eras to stop Malachai. They encounter challenges, gain allies like Professor Alaric Ravenscroft (voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch), and face a showdown where past, present, and future collide. With humor and bravery, they restore the timeline and preserve the balance of time itself.
