An old blind man, who while on a walk in the woods with his grandson, sits down to rest, while his grandson wanders off to refill their waterskins, Frankenstein's creature encounters him. As the man is blind, he doesn't notice the creature's dead skin and surgical scars. As the creature rants about Frankenstein, the man grows more scared of his new companion. Eventually the creature kills the man to silence him, as his rage leads becomes madness. His death is eventually blamed on Frankenstein, who is convicted and sentenced to death for it.
