A young boy, who went on a walk in the woods with his old, blind grandfather. While his grandfather rests, he goes off to find a river to refill their waterskins for the rest of their journey. During his venture back to his grandfather he overhears his terrified cries for help, as well as the name Frankenstein. Rushing towards him, he finds his grandfather having been murdered, and a shape lurking away from the scene.
