Their first mission as a team involves Grant Wilson, a young man with violent tendencies who wants revenge on Mister Terrific, After gaining enhanced brain abilities, Grant goes to fight the Trio, but midway through the fight, Grant begins to age rapidly until his body ultimately can't take anymore and he dies. Mourning the loss of his son, Deathstroke immediately swears to finish Grant's mission for him. Getting aid from Vandal Savage, Deathstroke plans on taking out legendary hero White Pantera, El Tigre’s Father. Soon the trio get some backing from the Fantastic Four’s very own The Thing.
