Richard Parker was a former CIA agent who retired and married to a scientist named Olivia Octavius (not Mary in this Spider-Verse). He is the father of Peter Parker and Teresa Elizabeth Parker. When the news told about the double incident at Octavius Industries and its shutdown, he blamed Peter for his argument with her that now put this family in financial ruin. In his anger, he indulged in crime to make money. He became Scorpion. When he reunited with his wife Doc Ock, he joined the sinister six (and the Nefarious Nine later) alongside his daughter Teresa aka Falcon. When he eventually found out that Spider Man is Peter Parker, he too used the knowledge as fuel for his rage. But he never forgave Peter as Olivia did before she died. He disowned him as his son and joined the Goblin’s Hand. After Oscorp fell, he would continue his criminal career in New York.
