This will be the first Spider-Man villain of the trilogy. Dr. Jason Macendale works at Oscorp for his work in cybernetics, genetics, and technology. But during the month of October, Macendale got into a freak accident and started hallucinating the spirit of Stingy Jack. An old Irish tale that the legend of Jack of the Lantern originated from. The hallucination revealed to him that he is directly related to Stingy Jack and he was meant to reduce the city to chaos. Succumbing to the madness and stealing Oscorps prototypes (including a hovercraft, bombs, armor, and helmet); modifying them to personalize his new twisted identity, he became known as Jack O’ Lantern. Unstoppable as he was, a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man came to save the day and brought the corrupt Macendale to justice. He would later return as a member of the Nefarious Nine (expanded from the shards of the Sinister Six) led by Doc Ock and followed by other villains united under one goal. To kill the Spider Man.
