Doctor Curt Connors was born with a missing limb. Ever since he worked in Oscorp, he dedicated his career to finding ways to regrow his arm the way lizards do. He was close to losing his job when he finally managed to accomplish that. However his experiment went wrong and he transformed into a giant sized Lizard. Scaring his wife and everyone in his path, he went to hiding in the sewers. After a couple fights with Spider Man (learning that he’s Peter Parker in the process), he agreed to make new gadgets with him and work with him to fighting crime. He remotely assisted in many of Spider Man’s fights but after Oscorp was destroyed, he allegedly lost control of himself and lost his humanity. Forcing Spider Man to find a way to cure him for good.
