The Deuteragonist of the story and Arthur's love interest. Hazel was formerly a squirrel, til she encountered Merlin, then he uses his magic to transform her into a human, at her request since she wanted to reunite with her dear friend, Arthur. Hazel's personality has also mellow out a bit from the first, being more in control of her exciting nature. Hazel also begins calling herself Guinevere, since she feels it's more royal than Hazel. Her friendship with Arthur also sparks a romantic story between them, which serves as one of the main highlights of the story.
