His name is Kal-el and he comes from the planet Krypton. He was the only survivor of her explosion in a huge cosmic catastrophe when his father, the foresighted Kryptonian scientist Jor-El, sent him into space in a small space capsule. The child lands on Earth, near the town of Smallville, where he is taken in by the childless couple Kent, who live on a lonely farm. From an early age, little Kryptoňan has extraordinary abilities, which grow stronger every year. After the death of the adoptive father, young Clark Kent meets the ghost of Jor-El, who was encoded in one of the Krypton crystals. The result of several years of his father's instruction is Superman with all the attributes: he can fly, he has supersight and superhearing, a superpower with which he can lift houses and planes, and he is almost invulnerable. Disguised as clumsy journalist Clark Kent, he begins working for the Daily Planet. Not only will he meet his handsome colleague Lois Lane, who will become his faithful companion and guide, but he also manages to thwart the plan of the genius criminal Lex Luthor, who wants to blast California off the American continent with the help of stolen nuclear missiles.
