The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is an animated adventure comedy film produced by Nintendo in collaboration with Universal Pictures and Illumination and co-produced by Super Mario franchise creator Shigeru Miyamoto and Illumination co-founder Chris Meledandri. It is a direct sequel to the 2023 film The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and is the fourth feature-length film in the Super Mario franchise. In the film, Mario, Luigi, Toad, Peach, and their new friend Yoshi wind up in space, and must stop Bowser Jr.'s nefarious plans to restore honor to the Bowser name by destroying the universe.
