Luigi tells Mario a bedtime story about a young working plumber named Cinder-Louie (played by Luigi) who dreams of going to the ball and dancing with a beautiful girl named Princess Daisy, daughter of the hungry King Pasta (played by Mario). but is forced to do even more chores by his evil step-mama (played by Mama Mario). That night his fairy-godbrother (also played by Mario) grants him the wish to become the most beautiful man in the ball and dance with the princess but only before midnight.
