King Koopa has unleashed his ultimate plan to take over the Mushroom World and crush the Mario Brothers once and for all! He steals an all-powerful star in the sky to become the most super-powerful ruler of the universe (That's how you see this is the original Bowser)!
With their Pasta Power and might, Mario, Luigi, Princess Toadstool, Toad, and Yoshi journey to unknown lands in search of the magic that would stop Koopa and free the kingdom!
Along the way they meet a bunch of classic Mario characters good and evil (Wario, Daisy, Donkey Kong, and Birdo), the lore behind the Mushroom Kingdom, and the Princess' missing parents the King and Queen.
This animated adventure also includes a live-action short featuring Mario and Luigi on their biggest adventure in Brooklyn outside their basement.
