Tom Ellis is a Welsh actor. He became known for playing Dr. Oliver Cousins in the BBC soap opera "EastEnders" and Gary Preston in the BBC One sitcom Miranda (2009–2015), then achieved wider recognition for his role as Lucifer Morningstar in the Fox/Netflix urban fantasy series Lucifer (2016–2021) and the Arrowverse franchise crossover "Crisis on Infinite Earths" (2019).
