Lyarra masqueraded as a boy for the sake of her life, that all of her family members are hunted because of their magical blood. But she herself is born a Squib. Either the King or his witch hunters known anything about Squibs that they searched for Lyarra too. She's having an affair with Corvus Slytherin II before King Aethelred's reign. The similarity between Corvus and Salazar attracted her to come near and join the Four to rebelled against the King's cruel law. Lyarra mastered the arts of war weapons, especially sword.
