Howard Ashman (May 17, 1950 – March 14, 1991) was an American playwright and lyricist. He collaborated with Alan Menken on several films, notably animated features for Disney, Ashman writing the lyrics and Menken composing the music.
From Imagine Entertainment and director Don Bluth (An American Tail, The Land Before Time), comes a fantasy adventure of a toy soldier with one leg, who gains bravery and wins the heart of a toy ballerina.
