In a sleepy, fog-drenched coastal town in Maine, Nina Alvarez runs a highly popular hyper-local podcast documenting town folklore, secrets, and historical mysteries. When Nina suddenly vanishes mid-broadcast, leaving behind only a frantic, cut-off audio file, her estranged childhood best friend, Chloe, returns to the town to find her. Chloe, a meticulous historical archivist, begins sorting through Nina's unreleased audio diaries and uncovers a hidden, underground pirate radio network operating on archaic frequencies. As Chloe listens closer, she realizes Nina was using the folklore stories as a front to expose a massive, decades-old real estate and political conspiracy involving the town's founding families—and that Nina's broadcast might still be running from a hidden location.
