Dacre Kayd Montgomery-Harvey (/ˈdeɪkər/; born 22 November 1994) is an Australian actor. Montgomery began acting in short films as a teenager before making his feature film debut in the adventure comedy A Few Less Men (2017). In 2017, Montgomery starred as Jason Scott / Red Ranger in the superhero film Power Rangers and began playing Billy Hargrove in the Netflix science fiction horror series Stranger Things (2017–2022). His performance in the latter earned him critical acclaim and various awards nominations. He has since starred in the Christmas horror film Better Watch Out (2017) and the romantic comedy The Broken Hearts Gallery (2020) and portrayed Steve Binder in Baz Luhrmann's Elvis (2022). The Spider-Man is a 2017 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, co-produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. Homecoming grossed over $880 million worldwide, becoming the second-most-successful Spider-Man film and the sixth-highest-grossing film of 2017. It received praise for the dark tone, its focus on Parker's high school life, and the performances, particularly of Holland, Carpenter and Keaton.
