The Spellshop follows Kiela, an anti-social librarian and her magical plant assistant, Caz, who flee a burning library during a revolution to her childhood island. There, she discovers a community neglected by the empire and the danger of using forbidden magic to help them. She opens a secret spellshop to aid the islanders and finds herself falling for a handsome neighbor, leading to a journey of self-discovery, community, and a cozy, magical romance.
