During a field trip at the Osborn Corporation Science Center (shortened to Oscorp), Peter gets bit by a radioactive Spider, that gives him the abilities to stick to surfaces, and gave him enhanced stamina and speed. Peter decides to use his power for personal gain, but it ends up with him stopping a mugger that would eventually kill his Uncle Ben. Peter, inspired by his Uncle's words "With great power, comes great responsibility," becomes the iconic superhero known as the "Spider-Man."
