Amy Pascal (born March 25, 1958) is an American film producer and business executive. She served as the chairperson of the Motion Pictures Group of Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) and co-chairperson of SPE, including Sony Pictures Television, from 2006 until 2015. She has overseen the production and distribution of many films and television programs and was co-chairperson during the 2014 Sony Pictures hack. The leak uncovered multiple emails from Pascal that were deemed racist, including racial jokes aimed at then-President Barack Obama. She left Sony, and Pascal later admitted that she was fired from the company. Pascal started her own production company, Pascal Pictures, which made its debut with the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot. In 2017, she produced Spider-Man: Homecoming, Molly's Game, and The Post. She has received two Academy Award nominations for Best Picture nominations for producing The Post and Little Women and a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature for producing Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Conclusion to Tom Holland's second trilogy in the MCU. Film opens with a battle like the past two, this time he fights the Eddie Brock Venom. Ned, now a sorcerer and student of Doctor Strange, goes beyond his teachings, learning of the spell that made him forget about Peter, among many other dark secrets. He fixes MJ's memory before Strange comes looking for him. Ned turns against Strange and becomes the villain known as Hob Goblin. Meanwhile, Kingpin works on creating the collider that will bring Vanessa back from a different universe. This is how the spider travels to the MCU and bites Miles who becomes the second Spider-Man who trains under Peter in the second half of the film. However, the collider explodes, causing Kingpin to lose it and wipe out his team of scientists. Kingpin also murders Black Cat following the explosion. That's when he meets Ned who tells him there are other ways to bring someone from the multiverse. Spider-Man must stop Ned before he causes another Multiverse problem. Ned sacrifices himself for Peter and MJ at the end of the film and is killed along with Kingpin. Peter decides to pass the mantle to Miles and live his life with MJ. He doesn't completely retire but turns to other ways of helping. After meeting a varient of his father from the multiverse, Theo changes his last name to Osborn.
