In Sony's "The Spectacular Spider-Man", Peter Parker (Dylan O'Brien) has had the spider-abilities for about 3 months and he wants to use them to become a superhero. He chooses his heroic name to be the spectacular Spider-Man. And then when he picks a superhero fight with the wrong pair of villains, it forces him to give it all he's got to stop them before it's too late.
