Age 62, a supergenius who turned to a life of crime out of intellectual boredom and has a vendetta against the Human Torch. Already a wealthy inventor who gets his name from perfoming feats of magic with his machines, Bentley grew envious of the Fantastic Four's fame and glory, in particular having a bitter hatred of Johnny Storm's charisma and natural charm. Despite his high intelligence, however, Bentley is also extremely arrogant and shortsighted, often letting his own ego foil his plans.
