However, when two workmen were tasked with transporting it to Midtown High for a demonstration, they instead decided to try using it for gambling and make it predict sporting events & lottery numbers. This caused the machine to go haywire and rampage through Midtown High before Spider-Girl and Spiderling shut it down.
