He was initially offered to join the X-Men, but Blob’s arrogance and obnoxious attitude made it clear that he wasn’t a good fit for the team. Afterward, the Blob would become a loyal member of the Brotherhood of Mutants, though he would often butt heads with Juggernaut over who was stronger.
