Ages 42 and 36, a criminal duo of a homeless man and a scientist who tried to cure the man of his cancer. However, Dr. Gerald Stone used an untested procedure to help Jacob Eishorn and the cure backfired, turning Jacob into a walking cancer with the power to decay anything he touches who can only survive by killing, while Gerald was transformed into a giant rock creature with similar abilities. Feeling guilty for the accident, Gerald became a mercenary with Jacob as his partner to gather enough money necessary to find a cure by any means.
