Under Galactus’s control and imbued with the Power Cosmic, Norrin Radd has seen the destruction of hundreds of planets across the universe while traveling on a surfboard that reaches speeds faster than light. However, when the Surfer begins preparing Earth for the coming of Galactus, he begins to realize, with help from the Fantastic Four, how valuable life could be, convincing him to fight back against his master and save the Earth.
