Accounts differ on the Shadow King’s origins; some say he’s a villainous mutant with psychic powers, others say he’s the physical manifestation of the dark side of human consciousness in possession of Farouk’s body. Whatever his true origins may be, the Shadow King is a cruel, greedy, and hedonistic beast and one of the X-Men’s most feared enemies.
