Age 18, a vigilante and the girlfriend of Sarah Rogers. A gold medal-winning high school gymnast from the Lower East Side of New York, Rachel tried to save her two brothers, Danny and Ricky, from falling in with a gang led by Crossbones, only to be assaulted and nearly raped before she was saved by Captain America, whose courage inspired Rachel to become a hero, training in hand to hand combat and fashioning herself her own diamond-shaped set of knives. Fittingly enough, Rachel fell in love with Steve’s daughter, Sarah. Despite being born in the early 20th century, Steve wholeheartedly approves of Sarah and Rachel being girlfriends, often to a wholesomely embarrassing degree.
