Age 40, One of Spider-Man’s old villains who has had a change of heart in the past. Once a special effects technician furious at the increasing use of AI in Hollywood productions over genuine, hardworking humans, Beck turned to crime to show everyone that special effects made by actual people will always reign supreme over artificial intelligence. However, once Spider-Man convinced Mysterio that he could still put his skills to good use instead of becoming a villain, Quentin gave himself time to think before turning over a new leaf and directing his own movies that he promises will have special and practical effects made entirely without AI. However, he didn’t account for his daughter Frances’s interest in crime.
