Physically age 45, a clone of Jean Grey and the mother of Cable. Created by Mister Sinister to replace the real Jean Grey and make a child for Sinister to experiment on, the woman who would soon call herself Madelyne Pryor trapped the X-Men in an illusory hellscape before she would be soothed and made peace with the X-Men. However, after the sudden death of Xavier and Magneto, Madelyne had no idea what she should do in this situation before Cassandra Nova collected her to serve as a reluctant member of the Brotherhood. As a Jean Grey clone, Madelyne possesses incredible psychic powers just like Jean’s and has only recently discovered she might be able to tap into the Phoenix Force.
