Age 50, a former police officer and veteran of the War on Terror turned violent vigilante out seeking revenge on all crime after his family was killed from being caught in a gang war. Frank’s extremism and penchant for violence against criminals never made him popular among superheroes, and he preferred to fight crime alone. Still, Frank was often seen with the Defenders because they were the only team he didn’t feel out of place in. But beneath it all, Frank is just a broken man trying to cope with his horrible losses in very unhealthy ways, and while he won’t admit it in public, he’s grown to care for the Defenders like a second family.
