Age 45, one of the original five X-Men and the wife of Scott Summers. After the deaths of Professor Xavier and Magneto in the X-Men’s final battle against Apocalypse, Scott and Jean were chosen to lead the X-Men in Xavier’s absence and become mentors to a new generation of mutant heroes. As always, Jean struggles with her control over the Phoenix Force, a problem that is only exacerbated upon the discovery that her daughter Hope is also a vessel for the Phoenix.
