Age ???, an all-powerful demon and ruler of an alternate dimension he calls Hell. Years before any of the Parker kids were born, Mephisto tried to convince Peter to give up his marriage to Mary Jane to save the life of Aunt May after she was injured from a gunshot, but Doctor Strange convinced the couple that it was a trap and teamed up with Spider-Man to exile Mephisto back to his realm. Angered by Strange’s interference and how Peter seems to have finally gotten a happily ever after despite everything that’s happened to him, Mephisto swears revenge on the Parker family. He sees Mayday, Annie, and Richie as a threat to his power, which helps him find an unexpected kindred spirit in one Paul Rabin.
