Age 35, Mayday and Annie’s science teacher and a former student of Otto Octavius, better known as Spider-Man’s nemesis and old mentor, Doctor Octopus. Unlike Otto, who genuinely wanted to help people before being corrupted by his vengeance against Norman Osborn and his mechanical tentacles’ influence on his mind, Carolyn is an eccentric woman who commits immoral acts in the name of science and has little empathy for her test subjects, which makes things very awkward when her two students realize she’s a supervillain.
