Age 62, the genius millionaire playboy philanthropist futurist CEO of Stark Industries and creator of the Iron Man armors. After being abducted by the Ten Rings in Afghanistan while trying to sell weapons to fight Al-Qaeda with, Tony was afflicted with shrapnel in his heart and was forced to build weapons for the Mandarin until he created a suit of armor to escape his captors and return to America a changed man. When Tony inherited the family business from his deceased parents, he preferred to go drinking and gambling with beautiful women, but after his accident, Tony decided to change himself for the better by using his fortune to improve his armor and become a superhero and an Avenger.
