After surviving a plane crash that claimed the lives of his parents, Wendell Rand and Heather Rand-K’ai, a nine-year-old Danny was taken in by the warriors of K’un L’un to be trained in martial arts, and he returned to New York ten years later a changed man in search of his father’s killer.
