Age 18, an ordinary young man who came into possession of a powerful super-fighting robot called Heroman that he used to defend the Earth and his hometown of Center City from an invasion of the Skrugg, an offshoot of the Brood. Years after defeating the Skrugg, Joey continues fighting evil with Heroman by his side, only now he has developed the ability to become Heroman himself.
