Age 19, a skilled young archer Hawkeye trains as his protege. Born into a life of luxury, Kate was caught in the crossfires of the invasion of Loki’s armies that would cause the formation of the Avengers, only for Hawkeye to save her in the nick of time. Kate has grown to idolize the avenging archer since then, leading to the young woman taking up archery to emulate Clint and training in various martial arts. Eventually, this caught the attention of Hawkeye himself, who was proud to see that he was an inspiration to someone and allowed Kate to share the Hawkeye name with him.
