Age 83, the villainous sister of the late Charles Xavier and current leader of the Brotherhood of Mutants. Even before either of them was born, Charles and Cassandra were at odds with each other, with Cassandra attempting to strangle Charles in their mother’s womb with his umbilical cord, and Charles’ attempt at defending himself caused their mother to have a miscarriage. Cassandra was believed dead, but in reality, her mind had persisted, and her body eventually reconstituted not too long after her brother died in the final battle with Apocalypse, in which she formed a new Brotherhood of Mutants. Unlike many of her recruits, who believed that Scott Summers and Jean Grey weren’t doing enough to keep Xavier’s dream alive and further positive relationships between humans and mutants, Cassandra is pretty much an unhinged psychopath who cheerfully takes pleasure in making humans and mutants alike suffer with her psychic powers.
