Naugus' was going to enslave Robotnik and make him his servant, but he took some time to agree to making alliance with him. He has done so much in the next two days, and has even almost destroyed Sonic and his friends! Everyone believes they are gone (but little do they know they escaped just in time). And Naugus isn't aware of obotnik betraying him and sending him back to the Void, and making a seal for it so that he may never return.
