Miranda Taylor Cosgrove (born May 14, 1993) is an American actress, singer and songwriter. Her career began at the age of 3 with several television commercial appearances. Cosgrove's film debut came in 2003, when she appeared as Summer Hathaway in School of Rock. She appeared in a number of minor television roles over several years before coming to prominence as Megan Parker on the Nickelodeon television series Drake & Josh. In 2007, she landed the role of Carly Shay, the lead character on the Nickelodeon teen sitcom iCarly, on which she starred until 2012. As of May 2010, Cosgrove earned $180,000 per episode of iCarly, making her the second-highest-paid child star on television, and in 2012 was listed in the Guinness World Records as the highest paid child actress. Cosgrove also voiced Margo in the animated film Despicable Me (2010) and its 2013 sequel. That year, Cosgrove was cast in an NBC television pilot titled Girlfriend in a Coma, which didn't materialize after Christina Ricci left the production. A Streaming Series based on the Ea Games game of the same name, "The Sims" tells the story in the small town of SimsVille where residents begin to suspect that they live in a game, a simulation,and that their lives are controlled by someone , after several strange events, such as bizarre bugs and other things like that, the residents have a breakdown and existential crisis, and try to find the mysterious "The Player", who would be the individual who controls the simulation. Meanwhile various dramas and Sub-Narratives take place like lovers finding out their loves aren't real and being devastated and various other things. The narrative focuses primarily on Arianna (Zendaya), a teenage student girl, who was the first resident to start discovering strange things and who lives in a game, at first she kept the secret, only later telling her boyfriend that she was the person he trusted the most, he also notices and so they discover that they are not hallucinations or an overactive imagination, little by little they started to tell the people they trust the most as close friends, until they form a small sextet of teenagers, "The Sims" , designed to find "The Player", with Arianna's basement as an improvised "base of operations".
