After Homer wins a radio contest, the Simpsons are invited to Hollywood for the grand opening of Springfieldland, a sprawling new theme park celebrating their town. But behind the cheerful rides and mascots lurks a darker truth: the park’s slick, power-hungry owner, Fox Greedman, has been secretly watching Springfield for years, using its people as material for a hit global TV phenomenon. When the family discovers the truth and becomes trapped inside the park, they escape and embark on a chaotic cross-country journey to return home and warn Springfield before Greedman replaces it with a controlled, commercialized replica. Along the way, the Simpsons rediscover what makes them, and their imperfect little town worth loving. In a heartfelt finale, they unite Springfield to reclaim their freedom, bringing the world’s longest-running story to a touching and hilarious close.
