Silver Surfer and his companion Mantis traverse the universe while guarding the Mind Stone. Upon revisiting his homeworld, the surfer learns that his old lover, Shalla-Bal, has been bonded to a mysterious force, leading to the discovery of the most powerful beings in the entire universe.
