In a remote region of Europe, similar to Germany, a series of mysterious events plague a quiet village on the outskirts of the legendary Black Forest. When a series of unexplained disappearances and strange sightings begin to torment the villagers, young historian Lena (played by Emma Watson) finds herself drawn into a journey to uncover the dark secrets surrounding an ancient legendary giant. Alongside a skeptical archaeologist, Dr. Klaus (played by Christoph Waltz), they must uncover historical clues and face unknown dangers while being pursued by a mysterious shadowy figure. As they try to save the village and unravel the mystery, they discover that the truth behind the giant may be more sinister than they imagined.
