Sean Patrick Astin (born February 25, 1971) is an American film actor, director, and producer better known for his film roles as Mikey Walsh in The Goonies, the title character of Rudy, and Samwise Gamgee in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. In television, he appeared as Lynn McGill in the fifth season of 24. He also provided the voice for the title character in Disney's Special Agent Oso.

After the events with the Star Sapphires, Knuckles went back to Angel Island where he was visited by an unexpected surprise: another echidna named Julie-Su! She came from the Lost Tribe of Echidnas in the hidden caves of Chaos, a refuge for Echidnas. But Julie-Su needs Knuckles' help because a powerful enemy was attacking them and has sworn its life to wipe out the Echidnas!
