Winwin is a Chinese singer, actor and dancer. He was born in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China. Although he is currently fokuser on acting, he is also and perhapa most known for being a member of SM Entertainment's boy group NCT, and its subunits NCT U, NCT 127, and WayV. He graduated from the historic Affiliated Secondary School of the Beijing Dance Academy, where he majored in Chinese traditional dance for 6 years, and he graduated from high school in just 2 years. He ranked first in Beijing Dance Academy's final exam, where he got a national award, which is the biggest Chinese dance exam. In 2015, he was accepted to the Central Academy of Drama (Zhong Xi), one of China's top 3 art schools, with an acceptance rate of 1%. He majored in acting, and he ranked 10th in the university’s acceptance exam, with 5000 people competing and only 50 were admitted. Winwin was scouted in his school when he performed Chinese traditional dance. On September 30, 2021, SM Ent. revealed that Winwin established his own studio for his acting activities in China. Since then he has starred in the chinese dramas Sweet Games (2023), Snowfall (2024), Perfect Match (TBA) and Moonlit Reunion (TBA).

"The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System" is a danmei Xianxia Web Novel and the story goes like this: after his death, Shen Yuan finds himself in the world of a stallion novel that he likened to trash shortly before he died.
